Google AdSense advertising
We use Google AdSense from Google Ireland Limited to place ads automatically. With your consent where required and where Google policies permit, ads may be personalized using your interests and previous activity. Otherwise Google may serve non-personalized or limited ads, or no ads.
Google and its advertising partners may process your IP address, browser and device details, current page and cookie identifiers to select, deliver, measure and secure ads. Google Privacy & messaging lists the purposes, partners and choices. You can refuse or withdraw consent using Privacy settings. We do not add form entries, tool inputs or account details to advertising tags.

Optional audience measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and sessions. Analytics is not loaded before consent. You may refuse without losing access to the site and withdraw using “Privacy settings”. We send a generic PlaceLayers page name and the site's home address, not article addresses, search terms, form entries or map-search inputs. Google processes device/browser information and pseudonymous cookie identifiers; reports can include approximate geography. In Google Analytics, Google signals, advertising personalization and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled. User and event data retention is set to two months; standard aggregated reports are not covered by that limit. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) expire after 180 days without extension by this configuration.
Service providers and your rights
Google provides our consent dialog and optional analytics. Processing may involve countries outside the EEA under Google's applicable transfer safeguards. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, object to relevant processing, and withdraw consent without affecting previous lawful processing. You may complain to the Czech supervisory authority, ÚOOÚ.
Maps, images and contributions
Map tiles and historical images may load from external providers identified on the relevant page, such as USGS and the Library of Congress. Your browser shares technical connection information with those providers to retrieve the requested resource. This analytics installation does not send your address searches, precise location or contribution contents to Google Analytics. Existing contribution rules remain described in our methodology.
