Make a share card from a historical sheet
Pick an edition and a sheet, crop the part of the block you care about, and get an image with the citation burned in — ready to send to your agent, your family, or the group chat that does not believe there was a foundry there.

Why the citation is on the image
Because a cropped old map with no source is a rumour. Every card carries the edition, the year, the sheet number and the archive it came from, so whoever you send it to can check it. The underlying sheets are free of copyright restrictions, so you can use the image anywhere — keep the credit line on it.
Do not caption a card as a finding. “The 1901 sheet shows a
filling station here” is accurate. “This lot is contaminated” is not something any map can
support. Methodology and limits.
